  1. No accounts, no personal data. This website does not require registration and does not collect your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information.
  2. Server logs for security only. To protect the content from scraping and abuse, our server temporarily records your IP address, browser type and visit time. These logs are used solely for security purposes (rate limiting and blocking abusive visitors), are rotated and deleted on a regular basis, and are never sold or shared.
  3. Strictly-necessary cookies. The p3t cookie is a 30-minute pass that lets the study content load. The page itself cannot read it; it is tied to your network address, contains no personal data, and is not used for tracking or advertising. It expires automatically. A second cookie, p3ex, is set only at your own request to exclude your device from the page-view total, and contains no personal data. A third, p3v, is a random anonymous identifier used only to count page views and reading time; it contains no personal data and is not linked to any account or profile.
  4. Your progress stays on your device. Practice records and your word notebook (My Words) are saved only in your own browser’s local storage. Clearing your browser data deletes them. If you choose the optional Sync feature, a copy of your word notebook is stored on our server under a random code that you create; it can be fetched only with that code, contains no personal information, and is deleted automatically after 90 days without use.
  5. No third-party trackers or ads. This website currently uses no analytics trackers and no advertising SDKs. A simple aggregate page-view counter runs on our own server and does not identify individuals. On our own server we also record aggregate reading time (visible-page seconds), linked only to the random number above; it cannot identify you and is never shared. If any of this ever changes, this page will be updated first.
  6. Voice recordings and transcripts. When you press “Read this sample” or “Record your answer”, your recording is sent to a speech recognition service that scores pronunciation, and is used solely for scoring purposes. For free answers, the recording is evaluated a second time against your own transcript so that rhythm and intonation can also be scored; the transcript serves only as the evaluation reference. We also measure the pitch and rhythm (intonation) of the same recording on our own server, using sound measurements only. This website does not retain your recording or your transcript, nor does it share them with any other servers or platforms. If you press “Record your answer”, the text is also sent to an AI service for a diagnosis against the scoring criteria and is likewise not retained. Such scoring and diagnosis are carried out by third-party models; the processing of your recording and transcript by those models is governed by their providers’ respective terms and privacy policies.
  7. Encrypted transmissions. All data transmitted between your browser, this website and the models described above is carried over encrypted connections.
  8. Dictionary look-ups. When you double-click (or long-press) a word, or add words to My Words, the word itself — no audio and no personal data — is sent to our server, which may query a free dictionary service for phonetics, audio and definitions. Looked-up words are cached for fast reuse and are not linked to any individual.
  9. Pronunciation audio. When you tap the speaker button on a word card, the word or phrase text is sent to a speech-synthesis service so its pronunciation can be played; no recording and no personal data are involved.
  10. Report feedback. If you use the Report button to dispute a score, your message and — only when you tick the box — that one recording are sent to the teacher. They are kept for 3 days and then deleted automatically. No personal data is required.
  11. Sharing links is your own action. The share buttons open Weibo, QQ, WeChat and rednote pages directly in your browser; you interact with those platforms on your own initiative, and their respective privacy policies apply.

  4. 您的进度保留在您自己的设备上。练习记录与您的生词本（My Words）仅保存在您自己浏览器的本地存储中，清除浏览器数据即会删除。若您选择使用可选的同步功能（Sync），生词本的副本会以您自行创建的随机码保存在我们的服务器上；仅凭该码可以取回，不含任何个人信息，并会在 90 天未使用后自动删除。
  5. 没有第三方追踪器或广告。本站目前不使用任何分析追踪器，也不使用任何广告 SDK。一个简单的聚合浏览量计数器运行在我们自己的服务器上，不识别个人。在我们自己的服务器上，我们还会记录聚合阅读时长（页面可见秒数），仅与上述随机标识关联；它无法识别您，也绝不对外提供。若上述任何一项发生变化，本页面会先行更新。
  6. 录音与文字稿。当您按下「Read this sample」或「Record your answer」时，您的录音会被传送至一项语音识别服务，用于为发音评分。对于自由回答，录音还会以您自己的文字稿为参照接受第二次评估，以便同时为节奏与语调评分；文字稿仅作为评估参照。我们还会在自己的服务器上测量同一段录音的音高与节奏（语调），仅使用声音测量结果。本站不保留您的录音，也不保留您的文字稿，亦不会将其分享给任何其他服务器或平台。若您按下「Record your answer」，识别出的文字稿还会被发送至一项 AI 服务，用于对照评分标准进行诊断，同样不会被保留。此类评分与诊断由第三方模型完成；这些模型对您的录音与文字稿的处理，受其提供方各自的服务条款与隐私政策约束。
  7. 加密传输。您的浏览器、本站以及上述模型之间传输的所有数据都通过加密连接传输。
  8. 词典查询。当您双击（或长按）一个单词，或将单词加入 My Words 时，仅该单词本身（不含音频、不含个人信息）会被发送至我们的服务器，服务器可能向一项免费词典服务查询音标、发音与释义。查询过的单词会被缓存以便快速复用，且不与任何个人关联。
  9. 发音音频。当您点击单词卡上的喇叭按钮时，该单词或词组的文本会被发送至一项语音合成服务，以播放其发音；不涉及录音，也不涉及个人信息。
  10. 报告反馈。若您使用 Report 按钮对评分提出异议，您的留言以及（仅在您勾选该框时）那一次录音会被发送给老师。它们会保留 3 天，随后自动删除。无需提供任何个人信息。
  11. 分享链接是您自己的行为。分享按钮会在您的浏览器中直接打开微博、QQ、微信与小红书页面；您是基于自己的意愿与这些平台互动，它们各自的隐私政策适用。
